Currently the emu is the world second largest bird. Thanks to three fingers ending very powerfull legs can run around 50km/h. Very persistent runing bird. Small stones are swallowed to assist in the grinding up and digestion of the plant material. Individual stones may weigh 40-45 g Drink just once a day but if it’s need they don’t drink several days.
